PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boron-containing wastewater treatment method which enables the sure application to a strict effluent standard value with a low-cost device and generation of a small amount of sludge. SOLUTION: In the boron-containing wastewater treatment method, after wastewater is treated with a peroxide, a precipitate is deposited in coexistence of a hydroxypolycarboxylic acid and an alkaline earth metal compound, and then the precipitate is separated from the wastewater to reduce the concentration of boron in the wastewater.
