PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a means for preventing the wear of a guide rail of an apparatus for raising/lowering a boom sprayer. SOLUTION: The apparatus (28) for raising/lowering a boom nozzle unit (14) of the boom sprayer (10) is provided with: the guide rail (30) for guiding the boom nozzle unit (14); a roller (32) which is fitted to the boom nozzle unit (14) and rolls along the guide rail (30); and a wearing plate (52) which is fitted detachably to a portion where the guide rail (30) comes in contact with the roller (32). According to this constitution, the guide rail (30) is neither worn nor bruised but only the wearing plate (52) is worn or bruised. Since the wearing plate (52) can be attached or detached, only the wearing plate (52) can be exchanged when the wearing plate (52) is worn or bruised. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
