PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifall device for thin type TV sets which performs a sure function of preventing falling without restricting the installing location of the TV sets. SOLUTION: The antifall device comprises a wall side mounting fixture to be fixed on a wall surface within a room of a building, a bar like body part 2 with its one end part connected to the wall side mounting fixture and a TV side mounting fixture 6 which is connected to the other end of the body part while being fixed on the rear of the TV set. The wall side mounting fixture is connected to the body part through a first connector 3 and the TV side mounting fixture is connected to the body part through a second connector 4. The first and second connectors have a pair of through holes one of which is formed at a position in the axial direction of the body part different from the other through hole while the pair of through holes is made orthogonal to each other as viewed in the axial direction of the body part to insert pins into the pair of through holes, respectively.
