<p>There is provided a signal output device for outputting a pattern signal, which comprises a pattern generator, a timing generator, a timing controller, and a waveform shaper. The pattern generator generates the waveform data of a pattern signal to be generated. The timing generator generates a timing signal according to the pattern cycle that the pattern signal should have. The timing controller receives the waveform data outputted by the pattern generator and, according to the waveform data, controls the output timing of the timing signal to be outputted by the timing generator. The waveform shaper generates a pattern signal according to the data value of the waveform data outputted by the pattern generator in response to the timing signal outputted by the timing generator.</p> |
