<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of removing carbon monoxide and another substance formed in an indoor space in a normal state with high efficiency and capable of being reduced in its cost. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner 10 includes an oxidizing catalyst filter 22, a blower 18, a carbon monoxide sensor 20, a memory 40 and a control unit 24. The oxidizing catalyst filter 22 removes carbon monoxide in air and the blower 18 transfers air to the oxidizing catalyst filter 22. The carbon monoxide sensor 20 measures the concentration of carbon monoxide and the memory 40 stores the data showing the relation between the removal amount of carbon monoxide and the amount of air flowing through the oxidizing catalyst filter 22. The control unit 24 determines the amount of air based on the data stored in the memory 40 and controls the blower 18 so as to transfer air in the amount determined by the control unit 24. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
