<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an MPEG decoding processing circuit for making it unnecessary to compromise image quality deterioration even in a scene where any high level encoding algorithm is not used. <P>SOLUTION: Specific data are extracted from encoded data 101 by a data extractor 2, and transferred to a complexity calculator 3. The complexity calculator 3 operates complexity calculation, based on the extracted specific data, and transfers the result to a statistic distributor 4. The statistic distributor 4 transfers a value calculated, based on the result of the complexity calculation of the complexity calculator 3 to a filtering part 5. The filtering part 5 operates patterned N tap horizontal filter processing to a decoded video signal 102 decoded by the decoding part 1, and a D/A converter 6 in the poststage operates digital/analog conversion, and an analog part 7 in the final stage outputs an output video signal 103 after an analog processing process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
