<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator controller which can control trip of a generator resulting from voltage variation by performing coordination control of effective power and reactive power, thereby making it possible to expand the voltage regulation width. <P>SOLUTION: Output voltage to the system 4 of a generator 1 is calculated by a voltage converter 13, and the effective power and reactive power are calculated by power calculation means 11 and 12, respectively. Based on these output voltage, effective power and reactive power, and the operable range of the generator 1 specified beforehand; a decision is made whether a reactive power corresponding to the effective power exceeds the operable range or not, and a PQ controller 16 expands the reactive power regulation range by reducing turbine output of the generator 1 if the reactive power exceeds the operatable range. Voltage regulation is performed by an automatic voltage regulator 7 under a voltage regulation width expanded as the reactive power regulation range is expanded by the PQ controller 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
