<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an alkaline cell of high reliability in which a creep phenomenon between a negative electrode current collector and a sealing body is suppressed even if stored in a high humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: The alkaline cell is provided with a cell case to serve as a positive electrode in combination in which a power generating element is housed, and an assembling sealing part to block an opening of the cell case, while the assembling sealing part is provided with a negative electrode terminal plate, the negative electrode current collector having a head electrically connected to the negative electrode terminal plate and a shaft, and a resin-made sealing body, and the sealing body is provided with a center cylindrical part having a through-hole into which the shaft of the negative electrode current collector is inserted, with the outer peripheral cylindrical part interposed between the peripheral part of the negative electrode terminal plate and the opening end of the cell case, and with a coupling part in which the center cylindrical part and the outer peripheral cylindrical part are coupled with each other. In the alkaline cell, the opening end of the cell case is folded so as to wrap the upper part of the outer peripheral cylindrical part of the sealing body, and the folded part is caulked inward to tighten the peripheral part of the negative electrode terminal plate. The sealing body is composed of a polyamide wherein an equilibrium moisture content in 50% of relative humidity is 0.9 to 1.7%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
