PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of various cutting works as well as rotating and turning by a single device. SOLUTION: The cutting device includes a spindle 1 for rotatably holding a cutting tool by a tool shank and a workpiece holder 14 placed on an opposite side to the spindle for holding a workpiece. The workpiece holder is structured to be capable of holding the tool shank. The workpiece holder includes a locking mechanism of a pull-stud-type tool shank. The cutting device includes a tool magazine 19, a cutting tool moving means 21 and a cutting tool mounting means 25 for holding a plurality of cutting tools and further includes a workpiece moving means 20 for moving the workpiece toward the workpiece holder and a workpiece mounting means 27.
