PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit a displacement without causing a backlash. SOLUTION: A micrometer head 12 and a mechanism having a rotating shaft 13 and an arm-like movable part 16 are installed on a frame 11. A guide part G formed of a groove 21 extending between a first position P1 set on the micrometer head 12 side and a second position P2 set on the mechanism side having the rotating shaft 13 and the movable part 16 is installed in the frame 11. Spheres B1 to Bn arranged in a row are stored in the groove forming the guide part G. The sphere B1 on the one side outermost end of the row for the spheres B1 to Bn is brought into contact with the movable part 12b of the micrometer head, and the sphere Bn on the other side outermost end of the row for the spheres is brought into contact with the movable part 16. The movable part 16 is biased to the row side of the spheres by a coiled spring 25 installed around the rotating shaft 13 to keep the adjacent spheres in a contacted state in the row for the spheres B1 to Bn.
