PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source managing device which properly controls drive of a starter, improves driveability and suppresses deterioration of a battery, even if an engine control device cannot be normally operated. SOLUTION: The power source managing device comprises: a start management control part 24 having a starter holding control function 23 driving a starter motor 4 and holding the drive, based on an operation signal from a button switch 9; a first termination means terminating the holding of the drive of the starter, when receiving a starter termination command signal transmitted from an engine control device 31 when complete explosion of an engine is determined; a second termination means terminating the holding of the drive of the starter when the complete explosion of the engine is determined based on an engine revolution signal transmitted from the engine control device 31; and a forcible termination means forcibly terminating the holding of the drive of the starter when the holding of the drive of the starter can not be terminated by these termination means.
