PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system capable of surely preventing leakage of fuel when a breakage is caused in supply paths. SOLUTION: The fuel supply system 100 comprises a fuel tank 2, a fuel pump 1, an excess flow check valve 4 and a fuel injection device 6. The fuel pump 1 is a gear pump and the excess flow check valve 4 is operated with a pressure difference between first pressure P1 in the first supply path 3, and second pressure P2 in the second supply path 5, and stops fuel supply when the first pressure P1 is higher than the second pressure P2 by a first reference pressure Ps1 or more. An excess flow check assisting valve 80 is provided in a bypass path 7 which provides communication between the fuel tank 2 and the first supply path 3. The excess flow check assisting valve 80 is operated with a pressure difference between third pressure P3, which is the pressure on an upstream side of the excess flow check assisting valve, and fourth pressure P4, which is the pressure on a downstream side of the excess flow check assisting valve, and opens the bypass path 7 when the third pressure P3 is higher than the fourth pressure P4 by a second reference pressure Ps2 or more to make the first pressure P1 higher than the second pressure P2 by the first reference pressure Ps1 or more.
