PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skylight of slide type capable of ensuring a large ventilation area and ventilating a room efficiently. SOLUTION: This skylight is provided with a fixed frame 2 attached to an opening part of a roof R and a movable frame 3 provided on the fixed frame 2 to slide, open, and close freely. The movable frame 3 can slide and be opened and closed in the direction of inclination of the roof R. A support rail 4 capable of sliding and moving freely in parallel with the direction of moving of the movable frame 3 is provided between the fixed frame 2 and the movable frame 3. While the movable frame 3 is fully opened by sliding and moving in the direction of opening, one end of the support rail 4 on an opening direction side is positioned in the outside of the direction of opening more than a horizontal frame 2-4 on an opening direction side of the fixed frame 2, and the other end of the support rail 4 is positioned in the outside of the direction of opening more than a horizontal frame 3-3 on a closing direction side of the movable frame 3.
