PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of a column joint part capable of easily, vertically and accurately adding an upper steel frame column, by connecting the upper-lower steel frame columns in arrangement for sandwiching a surface contact part and a vertical error absorbing part by an energy absorbing member manufactured by a low yield point steel plate, by arranging the vertical error absorbing part of the lower steel frame column, by forming the surface contact part between the upper-lower steel frame columns of a structure. SOLUTION: A relay member is arranged between a lower end surface of the upper steel frame column 2 and an upper end surface of the lower steel frame column 3. An end surface of upper or lower any one steel frame column 2 or 3 is joined to the upper end surface or the lower end surface of the relay member. A vertical error in the lower steel frame column 3 is absorbed by this joining part. An end surface of the other steel frame column is brought into surface contact with the other end surface of the relay member.
