PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member mounting structure which restricts an occurrence of irregular sound caused by a contact of a mounted member against a vehicle body. SOLUTION: A cap 16 is arranged between a vehicle mounting piece 22 and a stopper 14. A flat plate 38 of the cap 16 contacts a rib 30 and the mounting piece 22. A vertical installed part 40 contacts a base plate 28, a reinforcing rib 52, and a contact piece 26. A stopper piece 48 is fitted between an engagement hole 24 and an engagement piece 32 to contact these members. The cap 16 is engaged into a clearance between the mounting piece 22 and the stopper 14 to restrict a direct relative motion between the mounting piece 22 and the stopper 14, so that the occurrence of irregular sound caused by a contact or a friction between the mounting piece 22 and the stopper 14.
