PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing system for wheels improved in an anti-rust property at a pilot part thereby improved in a workability in a repairing operation, and reduced in its cost. SOLUTION: A bearing system for wheels is constructed in such a way that the shaft part 19 of an outer coupler member 13 is internally fitted to a hub wheel 1 through a serration part, and the hub wheel 1 and the outer coupler member 13 are separably attached in an axial direction by a fixing nut 20. A pilot part 21 acting as a guide surface for a brake rotor 22 and a wheel 23 is formed at the end part of the fixing nut 20 and the surface of the fixing nut 20 is formed with a coating film, so that a forging stage for the hub wheel 1 is quite simplified, and at the same time even if a replacement work is required due to a development of rust, the replacement of the hub wheel 1 is sufficiently carried out only through a replacement of the fixing nut 20 with the result that the bearing system for wheels making a cost reduction is provided.
