PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual gear shift operation instructing device for a vehicle, capable of checking gear shift instruction of a plurality of traveling mode, without changing a traveling mode by a switch and the like. SOLUTION: A gear shift direction for materializing an economy traveling mode and a gear shift direction for materializing a sports traveling mode can be indicated. Therefore, a driver can simultaneously know both gear shift directions without changing the mode by the switch and the like.
