<p>Disclosed is a pest control agent containing a tropolone derivative, a chloride of a group 2 element of the periodic table, and water. Also disclosed is a pest control agent containing a chloride of a group 2 element of the periodic table and water, which further contains, as an additive, at least one substance selected from the group consisting of surface active agents, antirust agents, sulfates and alginates. The pest control agent can be used for both soil treatments and wood treatments, and is highly effective against house pests, especially against termite. In addition, the pest control agent is safe to the human body.</p> |
