A fishing reel end plate (200) may comprise a unitary disk (200) having a generally central opening (252) between a frame facing side (220) and an exterior side (210) thereof, a bridge (230) proximate the frame facing side (220) and a wall (242) joining a fundus and the exterior side (210) defining a first cavity (250) open at the exterior side (210). The bridge (230) may have a hole (232) spaced apart from a generally central opening (252) for receiving a stud (120). The unitary disk (200) may have a second cavity (260) open at the frame facing side (220) and separated from the first cavity (250) by a common portion of the wall (242). The common wall (242) portion may have an opening (212) between the first and second cavities (250, 260). The end plate (200) may be mounted to the frame (20) of a fishing reel (10).
