<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diversity receiver capable of responding to an RDS and with excellent receiving quality. <P>SOLUTION: Two receiving circuits 10, 20 are provided. In regular reception, a receiving signal of a receiving antenna 11 is supplied to a receiving circuit 10 and a receiving signal of a receiving antenna 21 is supplied to a receiving circuit 20. Intermediate frequency signals S12, S22 output from the receiving circuits 10, 20 are added together, phases of the intermediate frequency signals S12, S22 are controlled to perform phase diversity reception of an audio signal and data. When receiving frequencies are retrieved based on the data, the data are received and the receiving frequencies are retrieved by supplying the receiving signal of the antenna 11 to the receiving circuit 10 and antenna switching diversity reception of an audio signal is performed by selectively supplying the receiving signals of the antennas 11, 12 to the receiving circuit 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
