<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a phenol-containing material containing kaempferol-3-O-rhamnoside as a main ingredient can simply and efficiently be produced. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing a polyphenol-containing material containing kaempferol-3-O-rhamnoside as a main ingredient is characterized by extracting one or more selected from the group consisting of the flower buds, bloomed flowers, flower petals and leaves of a leguminous plant with an alcohol, a water-containing alcohol, water or hot water, concentrating the extract, dissolving the obtained a Lathyrus odoratus polyphenol-containing concentrate containing the kaempferol-3-O-rhamnoside as a main ingredient in water, if necessary, fractionating the condensate with a polar organic solvent to obtain the aqueous layer fraction, and then purifying the aqueous layer fraction or the aqueous solution with an adsorption column. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
