<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply that makes it possible to prevent high-voltage power from being quickly consumed to shorten the operating time of a low-voltage load even though the low-voltage load is operated when power supply from a generator is stopped. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply 1 includes: a low-voltage power supply 4 for supplying power to a low-voltage load 3; a high-voltage power supply 6 for supplying power to a high-voltage load 5; a generator, not shown, for supplying power to the high-voltage power supply 6 and/or the low-voltage power supply 4; a DC-DC converter 7 for supplying power from the high-voltage power supply 6 to the low-voltage power supply 4; a controlling means 8 for controlling the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 7; and a current detecting means 9 for detecting charging/discharging current for the low-voltage power supply 4. When the DC-DC converter 7 is operated by the operation of the low-voltage load 3 when power supply from the generator is stopped and the current detecting means 9 detects that a charging current is being passed through the low-voltage power supply 4, the controlling means 8 lowers the output voltage of the DC-DC converter 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
