PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide acrylic syrup hardly causing its foaming in its solidification, and to obtain a highly transparent resin molded product from the syrup. SOLUTION: This method for producing the acrylic syrup comprises adding 0.005-0.1 pt.mass of a polyhydric alcohol to 100 pts.mass of methyl methacrylate or a methyl methacrylate-based vinyl monomer mixture followed by conducting a polymerization to a polymerization rate of 1-50 mass% in the presence of a radical polymerization initiator.
