PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure of a socket cover in a fluorescent lamp unit in which a special releasing action in a locking state is not required at the time of moving the socket cover. SOLUTION: The fluorescent unit is provided with a spherical ball 41 rotating following the movement of a socket cover 20 and an elastic force return means 42 which has an elastic force to push the ball 41 toward a locking hole 22. Thereby, the engagement of the socket cover 20 and a socket installation part 30 is released without requiring a force only by the action of moving the socket cover, and the socket cover 20 can be moved easily.
