PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary pump having variable delivery capacity for extending a service life of an adjustable displacement rotary pump. SOLUTION: The rotary pump having variable delivery capacity is provided with (a) casings 3, 6, (b) a conveyer chamber b formed in the casings 3, 6 and provided with a fluid inlet 4 in a low pressure side and a fluid outlet 5 in a high pressure side of the pump, (c) at least one conveyer rotor 2 capable of rotating around a rotary shaft R2 in a conveyer chamber, (d) an operation member 15 capable of reciprocating the casings 3, 6 for adjusting delivery capacity with being arranged with facing a front surface of the conveyer rotor 2 or surrounding the conveyer rotor. Moreover, (e) the pump is provided with tracks 3a formed in the casings 3, 6 and guiding the operation member 15 on an operation member sliding surface 15a with sliding contact.
