PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a sound conversion device with a configuration wherein a ROM and a multiplier are not required. SOLUTION: The volume conversion device includes: a data shift part which shifts digital sound data rightward by a prescribed number of bits on the basis of first volume control data; a correction value calculation part which calculates a correction value on the basis of rightward shifted digital sound data and second volume control data; and an addition part which adds the correction value of the rightward shifted digital sound data and outputs the addition result.
