PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographic method and duplicating method for a reflective hologram, by which upon photographing/duplicating a reflection-type hologram, reference light or reproducing illumination light can be made incident at an incident angle of nearly 90°or an angle larger than a critical angle, and upon continuous duplication of a reflection-type hologram, illumination light for duplication can be made incident at a desired incident angle, other than right angle. SOLUTION: A wavefront converting transmissive hologram 1' is stuck to one surface of a reflective hologram sensitive material 6, while a reflection-type hologram original 7 is stuck to the other surface. Illumination light in a collimated light flux is made to enter substantially perpendicular to the wavefront converting transmissive hologram 1' and is converted into a light 5 of a diverging light flux that diverges from a virtual diversion point P close to and outside the hologram plane; and by making the light 5 for transmitting the sensitive material 6 incident on the original 7 and diffracted to form diffracted light 8, the light 5 is made to interfere with the diffracted light 8 in the sensitive material 6, to thereby duplicate the reflection-type hologram original 7.
