PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abrupt temperature rise by supplying no excessive electric power even if a CPU runs away or a temperature detecting unit becomes abnormal when an induction heating type heating device is controlled through software by the CPU. SOLUTION: The CPU 400 computes input electric power from an input voltage Vin and an input current Iin and controls a detected value from a temperature detecting unit 314 for detecting input electric power or the temperature of an induction heating body 7FB1 to a predetermined value. An input limiting unit 317 varies a limit value of the input current according to the input voltage and when the input current exceeds the limit value I2, a driver 312 temporarily or completely stops signals 321 and 322 with a signal V3 from the input limiting unit 317 without reference to states of driving signals 331 and 332 from the CPU 400.
