PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an autonomous moving device, accurately measuring the motion of a user. SOLUTION: This autonomous moving device 10 autonomously moving to the vicinity of a specified person includes a motion state recognition means 22 for detecting the posture of the specified person and recognizing the motion state of the specified person based on a change with the passage of time of the detected posture. The motion state recognition means 22 calculates the momentum of the specified person based on the recognized motion state. Further device includes a warning means 38 for giving a warning to the specified person when the posture or motion state of the specified person recognized by the motion state recognition means 22 is improper.
