<p>A liquid container where, even if bubbles enter into a liquid guidance path from a liquid receiving chamber, liquid is prevented from reaching a detection position of a remaining liquid amount sensor as long as there is usable liquid remaining in the liquid receiving chamber, and thereby a detection error by the remaining liquid amount sensor is prevented. A cartridge body (10) has an upper ink receiving chamber (370), a lower ink receiving chamber (390), and a buffer chamber (430). The ink receiving chambers are serially connected to each other such that descent-type connections and ascent-type connection are alternately repeated. In the descent type connections, the upper ink receiving chamber (370) and the lower ink receiving chamber (390) are connected to each other so that the direction of the flow of ink (I) in an ink guidance path (380) is a descent flow running from above downward. In the ascent type connections, the lower ink receiving chamber (390) and the buffer chamber (430) are connected to each other so that the direction of the flow of the ink (I) in an ink guidance path (420) is from below upward.</p> |
