PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply roller which is stabilized in toner supplying performance to a developing roller and toner scraping performance and, especially, made to scrape the toner uniformly without unevenness to suppress image abnormality such as density unevenness, and also suppresses toner deterioration to always obtain a stable image of high quality. SOLUTION: The toner supply roller has a cored bar 2 and a foamed elastic material layer 1 formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cored bar, wherein: the foamed elastic material layer 1 is sectioned in a gear shape orthogonally to the length of the cored bar; rows of gear tip portions of the gear shape form a spiral shape; and each of the gear tip portions of the gear shape has an angleθof 0.3 to 10°to the length and a pitch width of 0.3 to 1.0 mm has a round shape of≥0.1 mm in radius.
