PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distance-measuring system and a position-measuring system for accurately measuring distances from a plurality of antennas to a receiver, and contributing to improvements in the position measurement accuracy. SOLUTION: The distance measuring system for measuring the distance from a radio wave radiation point to the receiver, corresponding to a strength of a received radio wave signal is provided with two antennas, installed at different locations; a power-adjusting means for adjusting the transmission power for each antenna; and a control means for controlling the combination patterns of transmitted power. The receiver has a distance-estimating means for estimating the distances from two antenna to itself, based on the combined patterns of the intensities of the radio wave signals received.
