PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baseboard connecting-section covering material capable of simply connecting baseboards mutually in the outside angular section of a wall as improving an appearance while being capable of also corresponding even to the shrinkage of the baseboard. SOLUTION: The baseboard connecting-section covering material has a cover body 31 forming one receiving section 32 with the fitted end section 12 of one baseboard 11 and the other receiving section 33 with the fitted end section 22 of the other baseboard 21. Adhesive reservoir sections 45 being formed so that each reinforcing-rib end face 42 is abutted against the end face 12 of one baseboard 11 with fitted one receiving section 32 and the outer side face 43 of an outermost reinforcing rib 41 in each reinforcing rib 41 is abutted against the end face 22 of the other baseboard 21 with the other fitted receiving section 33 so as to mutually isolate a plurality of the reinforcing ribs 41 in the cover body 31 while storing an adhesive by using spaces among each reinforcing rib 41 are formed.
