PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wall-embedded faucet which can inform a person of the occurrence of water leakage early by making water, leaked from a connecting part in a box, surely flow down like a streak onto a wall surface. SOLUTION: A faucet body 4 is housed in the box 3 which is provided on the backside of the wall 2; a surface of the box 3 is covered with a front cover 9; and the connecting part 4b for connecting a water supply pipe 5 on the backside of the wall to the faucet body 4, and a water receiver 6 for receiving the water leaked from the connecting part 4b are provided in a box 3. A gutter section 7 for guiding the leaked water to the surface of the wall 2 is formed in the water receiver 6 in such a shape as to be extended out in the direction of the front cover 9; both right and left side surfaces of the leading end of the gutter section 7 form tapered surfaces so that widths of them can be reduced toward the side of the front cover 9, respectively; and a notch for dropping the leaked water is formed in the center of the leading end of the gutter section 7.
