PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sock free from causing fibrillation and pilling on the surface, and having no rough feeling and excellent heat retaining property. SOLUTION: The sock knitted by pile knitting of ground yarn, backing yarn and pile yarn comprises adopting a structure of thermal contracting and sticking only the inside of the pile yarn on the front side of the ground yarn to the ground yarn by pressure and temperature setting.
