PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new 3-triazolylphenyl sulfide derivative having an excellent soil treating activity as an agricultural and horticultural insecticide, acaricide and nematocide and to provide the agricultural and horticultural insecticide, acaricide and nematocide comprising the derivative as an active ingredient. SOLUTION: The 3-triazolylphenyl sulfide derivative is represented by general formula [I] [wherein, R represents a 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl group, a 3,3,3-trifluoropropyl group or a 2,2,3,3,3-pentafluoropropyl group; n represents 0 or 1; A1represents a halogen atom or a 1-6C alkyl group (the group may be mono- or poly-substituted with a halogen atom); A3represents a hydrogen atom, a 1-6C alkyl group or a 1-6C alkoxy group; B2represents a halogen atom or a methyl group; and B4represents a 1-6C alkyl group].
