PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembly to a vehicle body frame in a subframe system suspension. SOLUTION: This suspension comprises a subframe 11, a pair of right and left lower arms 21, a pair of right and left upper arms 22 (suspension arms), a pair of right and left carriers 23 (wheel supporting members), and a pair of right and left shock absorbers 31. The subframe 11 is assembled to a vehicle body frame BD via a vibration control mount 12, and mounted to a tool for assembling the suspension. The lower arms 21, the upper arms 22, and the carriers 23 are mounted to the subframe 11 and the tool under a condition that a vehicle-mounted condition is substantially reproduced, respectively. The shock absorbers 31 are connected with the lower arms 21 at their bottom ends, and connected with an inner cylinder 12b of the vibration control mount 12 (a portion rigidly coupled with the vehicle body frame BD) via a connection bracket 41 at their upper ends.
