PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an omnidirectionally moving wheel and a transport dolly capable of being embodied in a small size and at low cost, equipped with a high rigidity, capable of suppressing variation in the operating force in the advancing direction, and accomplishing transportation while the straight running performance is secured, and also free of generation of vibrations. SOLUTION: The omnidirectionally moving wheel is fitted with a plurality of barrel-shaped rollers 3 in the circumferential arrangement centering on the center axle 1, and each roller 3 is borne by a frame 2 rotatably round the barrel-shaped roller shaft perpendicularly intersecting the center axle 1. A sliding part 4 having a small friction coefficient is arranged between two rollers 3, and the outer edges of the sliding parts 4 from the center axle 1 constitute the wheel surface together with the outer edges of the rollers 3 from the center axle 1.
