PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint member for a sheet-fixing material orthogonally connecting two sheet-fixing materials. SOLUTION: The joint member 1 comprises an L-shaped inner joint 2 inserted into the inner parts of two sheet-fixing materials 10, 10 to be orthogonally disposed and having a width wider than that of the opening part 10a of the sheet-fixing material, and an L-shaped cover joint 3 covering the opening part at the joining part for the two sheet-fixing materials. The inner joint 2 is provided with at least one screw hole 2a per one sheet-fixing material and the cover joint 3 is provided with a bolt-passing hole 3a corresponding to the screw hole so that the edge part of a bolt 4 screwed into the screw hole through the bolt-passing hole comes to the bottom surface part 10b of the sheet-fixing material to secure reactive force and make the inner joint float up to give joining strength produced by frictional force to a part between the inner surfaces of both side walls of the sheet-fixing materials so as to orthogonally connect the two sheet-fixing materials.
