The method may further comprise cutting a plurality of polygonal tobacco leaf portions (8a) (8b) (10a) (10b) (34a) (34b) from at least one tobacco leaf (2) (32) ; and tessellating the plurality of polygonal tobacco leaf portions (8a) to form the elongate web (12) (14) (16) (44) (46) . |
