A system for an online contents marketplace and an operation method thereof are provided to give an opportunity to make profits to providers of contents only with originally created contents and to create a network between providers and consumers. A system for an online contents marketplace includes a contents selling mean(100), a contents buying mean(200), a contents market place server(300) and a data communication network(400). The contents market place server includes a contents DB, a message receiving module, a contents collecting module and a contents selling module. The contents DB stores contents authorized by contents a contents provider matching provider identification information. The message receiving module generates and outputs upload information regarding the authorized contents. The contents collecting module registers and manages the authorized contents registered on the contents DB. The contents selling module provides searching and trading services.
