The sandwich unit has a static wall unit (4) and a plaster base unit (6), where a foam layer (8) is arranged between the wall unit and the base unit. The foam layer connects the wall unit and the base unit together in a fixed manner, where the foam layer has a thickness of 1 centimeter. The wall and base units have different hollow chamber structures (16, 18). The foam layer is designed between connecting surfaces (22) with an even thickness. The foam layer is completely covered outwards by a wall unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a brick-work sandwich unit.
