A device for extracting onion juice and a method thereof are provided to minimize fracture of onion tissue and to maintain freshness for a long time by crushing onion according to rotation of a crushing blade two times. A device for extracting onion juice and a method thereof comprise a primary crushing unit(10), a secondary crushing unit(20), and a filtering unit(30). The primary crushing unit forms a crushing chamber(11) having a crushing blade(12) which crushes onion by operating a driving motor(13) and a discharging unit(15) discharging onion pulp and onion juice crushed by granularity of 20 to 30 meshes at the bottom of the crushing chamber. The secondary crushing unit has a crushing chamber(21) having a fine crushing blade(22) by rotating the onion pulp and onion juice crushed at the discharging unit of the primary crushing unit via operation of a driving motor(23) and a discharging unit(25) discharging the onion pulp and juice crushed by granularity of 10 to 15 meshes at the lower part of the crushing chamber. The filtering unit discharges the onion juice of the discharging chamber to a discharging port(35) with a manipulation of a discharging valve(36) and includes a receiving chamber(31) which receives the onion pulp and juice crushed at the discharging unit of the secondary crushing unit and places a filtering net(32) formed by granularity incapable of passing through the onion pulp, a porous barrier(33) having a fine hole wherein the onion pulp is not capable of passing through at the lower part of the receiving chamber, a discharging chamber(34) discharging the onion juice passed through the fine porous barrier at the bottom of the receiving chamber, and the discharging port having the discharging valve opening and closing the discharging chamber. |
