The system has a housing (12) with a key surface (22), and a set of display pins movable between a key position projecting over the key surface and a resting position. A controller is configured for individually controlling the display pins, where the key surface has two surface areas that are controllable by separate control units. One of the surface areas is a control area, in which the display pins are provided. Sensor units are provided to co-operate with fingers of a user.
