The display has a light source (LQ), which includes a light emitting diode (LED), which emits green light. A conversion device (K) is designed such that the green light, which is emitted from the light emitting diode is partially converted into red light. The conversion device is aligned to an image formation device and the light emitting diode such that the conversion of the green light into red light is implemented.
