The actuator separates the extension device from the suction lines by stroke movements or connects the extension device with the suction lines. The actuator is arranged in a storage tank (2) and comprises a stroke-producing area (8a), which is subjected by the low pressure storage with a pressure (p2), where the area is partially surrounded by another area (8b), in which atmospheric pressure (p0) is obtained.
