A system and a method for providing ground/structure information are provided to offer contents related to various information involved in a code image by providing a book or a report marked with the code image related to various information for the predetermined ground/structure and providing the code image to a recognition device. A management book(1) is marked with the code images corresponding unique information of each ground/structure. A management server(3) generates the code image for each ground/structure and constructs a database storing various information corresponding to the code images. A manager terminal(2) transmits a request message for the ground/structure to the management server by reading the code image marked in the management book. The management terminal is equipped with a decoder reading the code image from the management book and converts the read code image into digital data recognizable in the management server. The management server includes a code image generator, the database, a code information analyzer, a communicator, and a controller.
