<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retraction prevention structure of a foot pedal manufacturable at a low cost and adaptable to other type of vehicle easily. SOLUTION: This retraction prevention structure of the foot pedal is provided with a pedal bracket, a support means connected turnably with a first support shaft supported on the pedal bracket and connected with a push rod, the foot pedal connected turnably with a second support shaft supported on the support means, and a stopper means locking the foot pedal and the support means integrally by regulating the turn of the foot pedal for the second support shaft. When a large load exceeding a predetermined value is applied from a front side of a vehicle body, the stopper means releases a locking condition of the support means and the foot pedal due to the deformation of the pedal bracket, and the foot pedal turns to move a lower end part of the foot pedal toward the front side of the vehicle body.</p> |
