PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control unit of a vehicle capable of finely controlling behavior of the vehicle in response to detecting accuracy of travelling route information. SOLUTION: In the control unit of the vehicle has a travelling route information detecting device for detecting the travelling route information of the vehicle on the basis of data stored in an information recording medium, a behavior control unit for controlling the behavior of the vehicle on the basis of a set control pattern corresponding to the travelling route information, an accuracy detecting means (steps S12 to S15) for detecting detected accuracy of the travelling route information detected with the travelling route information detecting device by determining whether or not a parallel road within a designated distance of the travelling route of the vehicle exists in data of the information recording medium and determining whether or not a plurality of intersections within a designated distance of the travelling route of the vehicle exists in the data of the information recording medium, and a control pattern changing means for changing control patterns on the basis of the accuracy of the travelling route information.
