摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape memory alloy material having such a high shape recovery property and such a high transformation temperature that it may have shape memory effect or superelasticity of 2% or greater requiring for exhibiting a perfect shape recovery elongation and being on an industrially utilizable level and an Af temperature of 100°C or higher, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The shape memory alloy material comprises 49.5 to 50.25 mol% Ni, 8 to 20 mol% Zr, and below 0.1 mol% Hf, with the balance being Ti and unavoidable impurities and is characterized in that the perfect shape recovery elongation in shape memory effect or superelasticity is 2% or greater and the reverse martensitic transformation finish temperature is 100°C or higher.
